What We Do
Members of the South Vancouver Island Potters Guild meet monthly to conduct business, share experiences and present programs by a wide variety of clay artists. The Guild maintains a library of relevant books and DVDs, produces a monthly newsletter, advertises local pottery events, facilitates workshops, arranges exhibitions and co-ordinates a members’ show and sale each June.
Our membership includes Victoria potters, and those from an area from Sooke to Sidney to the Cowichan Valley; membership ranges from Fine Art graduates to self-taught potters, from novice to professional artists. Annual membership fees are $35.
The Guild is a group member of the B.C. Potters Guild and the Community Arts Council of Greater Victoria
Meetings take place on the second Monday of each month (except July and August) at 7.00 p.m., at Saanich Community Church Hall 4566 W Saanich Rd., Victoria, The guild does not have a permanent location.
