FOR FOOD AND FLOWERS, FUNCTION AND FUN, IN MANY VIBRANT COLOURS
Joan Kagan has been making pottery for over thirty years, and believes that there is no such thing as having too many bowls, and that even the most basic every day pottery can and should be displayed. Her mission is to create pottery that is practical for daily use and pleasing to look at.
She has worked full time as a potter since retiring from high school teaching and counselling in Toronto. Over the years she has studied with many fine potters in Canada and the United States. She has recently made her home in Victoria British Columbia and established her new home based studio. She continues to make her lines of household wares while experimenting with new shapes and colours in her new warmer city where she takes great pleasure in being able to see the ocean every day.
Small classes for adults are offered and custom orders are taken.
